My journey into bread-making began just a few months ago, during a much-needed break from the daily grind. What started as a therapeutic escape, with flour-dusted counters and the soothing hum of the oven, quickly blossomed into an all-consuming adventure. Suddenly, the world felt softer and a little more flavorful. Today, as a one-woman show, I pour my heart into every rise, experimenting with local and seasonal twists to create breads that aren't just food; they're comfort in every slice.
The name "Little Bean" is a tender nod to our sweet pup, Bean, who crossed the rainbow bridge far too soon. With her tiny frame and boundless energy, she is the spark that inspires this dream. Baking became the way to honor her spirit; small beginnings leading to something nourishing.
